January 8, 2011 New Year’s Prayer

Lord, bring to light what I do not know.
Lord, warn them of what I am not aware.
Lord, whisper to them what I have forgotten.
Lord, teach them of what I have omitted.
Lord, be for them what I cannot be.
Lord, love them as only You can and
give them wisdom to understand that
You are truly all they ever truly need.

  I like this prayer too. So many times, I have “somehow” been alerted to the fact that one of my kids was veering from the good path. The Lord does give parents extra wisdom to raise their kids.
  I also like this sharing of the blogs!
